Phenomenal! The food was off the charts. This is a mom-and-pop hole in the wall place, that you MUST visit if you are in this area. I was visiting a friend in Shawnee and we happened upon this quaint spot. Family-owned and operated, they have a wide variety of mediterranean and Italian inspired dishes created on the spot for you. There is also a small grocery in the shop with European cooking items - I specifically noticed spices my Croatian roommate used to use in cooking. When we arrived, it was two individuals. Friendly and fun. The dining area is small, which makes me think most people must order to-go. I chose to ask what they loved best, which after finding out its family-owned was best. I had the gyro sandwich combo with chicken which came with a salad, hummus, and the sandwich. Drinks are separate and in cans. The salad was great. I thought the hummus was lacking a bit, but I didn't mind, but that sandwich. *insert the chef's kiss* was PHENOMENAL. We were also given complementary baklava for dessert. This baklava was full of pistachios and also just as delicious. Others came in as we were finishing up, and I happened to ask if what they loved best, which they agreed was my gyro. However, I was also then told this person was the son of an Argentinian woman with Palestinian roots who makes empanadas for pop ups for this restaurant. She had JUST brought them to the shop, so we asked for two togo since we were already full. Let me tell you and let me be very clear: FIND THESE EMPANADAS!!! Both families were incredibly warm and full of hospitality, and with the food being so delicious, it made for the most enjoyable experience! Love Love LOVE this place!

Fresh, clean, flavorful and affordable place. This was my first time visiting the place, but I’ll be coming again to try other menus. Not sure what to think of the Italian/Mediterranean combo, but they’re good.

Very friendly customer service. Wait time for service is minimal. Had the lasagna and Gyro sandwich for lunch and the Tiramisu for dessert. All are great choices. I love and recommend the lasagna. The Gyro great also. I have never tried Tiramisu and I was not disappointed. If you like coffee and cream cheese try this delicious dessert. The owner recommended it and I'm glad I tried it. The owner is kind and genuinely interested in his customers experience at his restaurant. He mentions that all of the food is prepared fresh and home made. I agree because the food tasted so good. I highly recommend this place and will be a returning customer.

This place is amazing!! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. We got the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and it came with pita and Marina. It was delicious! I got the chicken kebab and loved it so much I had to buy some of the sauce to take home. My boyfriend got the chicken shawarma and he loved it too. For dessert we tried one of the authentic candy bars they offer. It was great. The service was fast and it was so fun to try a new place. 10/10 would recommend

Dont let the smallness of this store fool you. The people are friendly the food is fresh and filling! I ordered the gyro combo and a shawarma sandwich combo which they cut up for my kids and of course my favorite falafels! I don't want my falafel being to crunchy and bland the falafels here are perfect with just the right amount fried outer and soft middles with delicious green spices !! I also come here to get my baklava fix. I'm picky about my baklava . The baklava here aren't too sickly sweet or too dry like other baklava I've had. The pita bread is fresh and their hummus smooth and delicious. They also have really good olive oil and I don't want mine to be to heavy or taste to much like olives from a can. It's great for baking instead of using vegetable oils! You can also get some spices, Turkish tea and coffe. This store may be small but they are mighty with flavor!

Did you ever think that maybe there's more to life than eating being really, really ridiculously good tasting Italian food?” asks myself. The answer is no. Go here immediately. This place is so incredibly good. Ordered the lamb and beef gyro. Husband had the chicken parm. Both …

This place is a very good mix of Italian and Mediterranean food. We got the chicken fettuccine and Gyro combo so we could share and try some of both. The food was excellent and my girlfriend was enjoying dipping the pita bread in the Alfredo sauce. The store itself is a bit small, but it's not a bad atmosphere. Overall I was very happy with my experience and we will be coming back.
